- Chief Information Officer at Techneome – a biotechnology investment consulting startup.

Projects
Software (open source)
- I maintain an interest in contributing back to Debian whenever I can; I’ve submitted bugs/fixes for and participated in discussions about Turck-MMCache, Jetty, and PHP
- I wrote a bookswap tool to help students at my old high school sell their used textbooks to those taking the same classes the following year which has been used for the past two years.
- I wrote MathBBCode and formerly maintained the Custom Pages MODs for phpBB. I’m unfortunately not likely to work on them again, as I’ve grown disillusioned with phpBB.
- I wrote a post/thread read tracking patch for mvnForum as part of my Three Rings work – it is scheduled for integration after 1.0GA, but is available for download from that thread. I also helped with a convertor for private messages and BBCode as part of the transition from phpBB (buggy, bloated, insecure) to mvnForum (happy, lean, secure). Sadly, mvnForum appears to also have quirks/bugs of its own, so I’m becoming a bit disillusioned with it as well.
- I’ve written preliminary server clustering support into Narya – a massively multiplayer game framework written by Three Rings and released under the LGPL. The repository is located here.
- For my job at Three Rings, I wrote the FlatExport MediaWiki extension to dump pages and associated images from a given namespace into flat files that can be used in a high-traffic situation using SSI and yet remain easily edited and updated by users with no knowledge of HTML. The documentation is shoddy as it was written as an internal hack to move content from the YPPedia Official: namespace onto the Puzzle Pirates website
- I updated mmreencrypt to work with recent versions of Mailman and released it as Mailman-Reencrypt
Hosting
- RustyCutlass.org – a former fansite, and now a repository of game-related tools, for Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates
- CTYAlcove – a meeting place for a group of CTY Lancaster alumni
- Caltech Class of 2009 Forums – the semi-official community for the Caltech freshmen
- Formerly hosted Brotherhood of the Dragon – a clan/alliance in Utopia
- Blacker website – contributed suggestions towards the overall design, minor system administration/maint. work
